Marco Reus scored the only goal as Borussia Dortmund suffered a disappointing defeat against RB Leipzig on Saturday evening.
Reus, who has been in fine form this season, was given the responsibility of scoring the winner for his team and he did not disappoint. The German forward was involved in the build-up play and provided a brilliant cross which was headed home by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The win was crucial for Leipzig, who now have a four-point advantage over their rivals,Bundesliga Tracking but it was a tough loss for Dortmund, who had previously won six consecutive games and were looking to continue their impressive run of form.
Despite the defeat, Reus remains one of the best players in the Bundesliga and is expected to continue playing at a high level throughout the rest of the season. He will be hoping to help his team secure a place in the Champions League next season and will undoubtedly be a key player for Dortmund in the coming weeks.
