Cao Yunding's Passing Data At Shanghai Shenhua

Cao Yunding, the founder and chairman of Shanghai Shenhua Group, has passed away at the age of 82. His passing was announced by his son, Cao Zongyi.

Cao Yunding was born in 1926 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Tsinghua University in Beijing with a degree in electrical engineering in 1947. After graduating, he worked as a research engineer for several years before joining the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in 1950.

In 1956, Cao Yunding joined the PLA Military School in Beijing. During his military service, he received several awards for his contributions to the defense industry. In 1959, he was promoted to major and became a member of the Communist Party of China.

After returning home,Chinese Super League Matches Cao Yunding began working at the Shanghai Machine Foundry. He later moved to the Jiangsu Electric Power Engineering Institute, where he continued to work until his retirement in 1999.

During his time at the Jiangsu Electric Power Engineering Institute, Cao Yunding played a significant role in the development of electric power technology. He founded the Shanghai Electric Power Company and was instrumental in its success.

In 1985, Cao Yunding established the first joint-stock company in China, Shanghai Shenhua Group. This company is now one of the largest and most successful companies in China, with a market capitalization of over $2 trillion.

Cao Yunding died peacefully in his sleep on February 13, 2020, surrounded by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to shape the future of China's electric power industry.
