Inter Milan has announced the signing of Italian striker Alessandro Bastoni to their squad, bringing him back from his loan spell at Serie A side Juventus. The move comes after Bastoni's impressive performances for Inter in the 2018-19 season, helping them reach the Champions League final and securing promotion to the top flight.
Bastoni joined Inter from Serie A rivals Juventus in the summer of 2017, making his debut in Serie A in January 2018. Since then, he has scored 54 goals in all competitions with Inter, which has helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League.
In his first season at Inter,La Liga Frontline Bastoni netted 26 goals, finishing second in the league scoring title. He also helped Inter win the Serie A title in 2019, which was their first league title since 1996.
Bastoni's return to Inter is a big boost for the team, who have been struggling this season. They finished second last season, but Bastoni's arrival should help them push up the table and qualify for Europe's top division next season.
